opportunities exist for those exceptional people who love, respect and
have a desire to work with animals.
Lakota Wildlife Center needs individuals who are willing to continually
learn the best methods of care for our many varieties of charges and who
are willing to make the commitment to carry out duties of that care,
always putting the animal’s wellbeing first.
Working together to ensure superior care for those placed in our charge
include continual training, organization and communication with
co-workers with a bonus of getting to experience working closely with
these
magnificent creatures.

Lakota Wildlife Management Levels |
 Lakota
Wildlife Center strives to operate in excellence in the highest degree
possible. Mixing the element of groups of Full Time Staff and
Volunteers with the hands on nature of working with wild animals
sometimes necessitates the need for quick distinction of management
levels in emergency events. In an attempt to distinguish these levels
of training quickly, different colors of shirts (with Lakota Wildlife
Center’s logo and identification tag) will be available for purchase
upon hiring or volunteering to different management levels. (These
shirts have Lakota Wildlife Center’s logo embroidered on the pocket and
each employee must wear an ID tag.)

is set up to run mostly from dedicated volunteer who have
been chosen to be apart of Lakota Wildlife Center through the online application process and experience interviews.
These volunteers receive training, mentoring and, most of all, a chance to
give to a larger purpose in life with the care and interaction of magnificent aminals.
