land-needed.jpg Lakota Wildlife has found the land that has been needed for sometime now.  This land is more than perfect for our new location.

With this land we plan to build much larger habitats and more of them.  The land location is away from larger towns so that traffic doesn't end up being our #1 death toll reason  This land has 2000 acres on the backside that is a Wildlife Reserve - run by DNR.  The Broad River is on the backside of the property and wraps around the back and right side, providing great potential for water features in each habitat. Hills and beautiful open grass areas are just perfect for building deer and other mammal habitats.  Wooded areas all over are great for the raccoons, foxes and such.  There are a few streams on the property as well to provide a great water source for released wildlife.

Our plans for this beautiful property include providing sanctuary and rehabilitation for large wildlife found within the state, to build an education facility focusing on living in harmony with and aiding wildlife and our environment, providing a central location for other wildlife groups as well as DNR to access for housing and other wildlife purposes. The rich expance will allow growth for all phases of this project and we hope it will be a great asset to our state.

This is an ambitious project and one that is greatly needed in this region. It will take a united effort to accompolish this for the wildlife of our state. Please consider a monthly or one time gift to help us help the them. If you wish to know more about the selected site, please call us and we will be more than happy to talk with you about our goals, mission, history and plans.
