hours at Lakota Wildlife Center change from season to season.
Spring and Summer are heavier orphan seasons and, coupled
with the longer daylight hours, we tend to have a much higher volume of
calls.
To accomidate this, our office hours tend to be longer during these
times.
However because of the nature of our work, we do try to check the phone
on a regular basis for emergency messages and a strong attempt is made
to return calls within 24 hours.

Lakota Wildlife Center is NOT open to the Public, but we try to attend to the phone specifically between the hours of:
9:00am - 5:00pm (E.S.T.) Monday - Friday
The office is closed on Saturdays and Sundays except for special arrangements for drop-offs and Special Events.
Because of the nature of our work, we check messages regulary around the clock for emergency situations.
We return calls according to the urgency and try to respond within 24 hours.
